Do you still remember these angels? Occupying a whole memory with their melodies… impressive and eye-catching captivating movements that make us unable to take our eyes off them. But looking closely, the mysteries behind them will make you gasp

Pan’s People helped revolutionize music television long before the age of music videos. Best known for their stylish, choreographed performances on BBC’s Top of the Pops, the all-female dance group brought energy, glamour, and visual storytelling to the biggest hits of the 1960s and 1970s.

The group evolved from The Beat Girls, who appeared on influential shows like Ready Steady Go!. In 1967, choreographer Flick Colby formed Pan’s People specifically for Top of the Pops, creating a troupe that would become instantly recognizable. Although the lineup changed over time, their signature mix of modern dance and theatrical flair never faded. Pan’s People left a lasting legacy, proving that dancers could be just as iconic as the music stars they performed alongside.
