A liquefied petroleum gas tanker overturned and exploded on the Iztapalapa–Chalco highway, triggering a massive fire that engulfed nearby vehicles during the morning commute. Officials said at least 15 people were killed and more than 70 injured. Emergency crews rushed to the scene as hospitals treated victims for burns and smoke inhalation.
