She hated her body and felt ‘ugly’ – at 32, she’s a super star, but still gets mocked for her teeth

She grew up anxious, bullied, and ashamed of the things that made her feel different, especially her teeth. Struggling with a chaotic childhood and later understanding her ADHD and autistic traits, she eventually realized the qualities she tried to hide were the same ones that made her shine on stage.

After rising to fame through Sex Education and The White Lotus, she still faced public jokes about her appearance. But instead of changing herself to fit Hollywood standards, she embraced who she was. By refusing to “fix” her smile, she turned years of insecurity into strength and proved success doesn’t require perfection.
