A deadly industrial fire at a biscuit factory near Trikala, Greece, has claimed the lives of four women, authorities confirmed. The blaze broke out early in the morning, triggering a major emergency response. The cause remains unknown as investigations continue.

Around 4:00 a.m., the fire erupted at the Violanta facility, where 13 workers were on duty. Eight escaped safely, while four victims were later found inside. One worker was initially reported missing as search efforts continued.
