Donald Trump makes chilling new threat hours after declaring war is “complete”

Donald Trump warned Iran of severe consequences if it interferes with oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important energy routes.

Iran had previously threatened to block the waterway, a key passage for oil exports from countries such as Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. The tensions pushed crude oil prices above $110 per barrel, the highest level in more than three years.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the United States would respond forcefully if Iran disrupted oil shipments through the strait, warning that any attempt to block the route would bring a much stronger response from the U.S. while expressing hope that the situation would not escalate further.
