Iran issues ominous assassination threat to Donald Trump

Iran has issued a warning toward U.S. President Donald Trump as tensions with Washington intensified during the ongoing Middle East conflict. Ali Ardashir Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, made the statement after Trump wrote on Truth Social that Iran would be “hit twenty times harder” if it tried to disrupt oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. The remarks came on the tenth day of escalating fighting following joint U.S. and Israeli strikes on key Iranian targets, after which Iran launched retaliatory attacks across the region.
