Canada rocked by the deadliest school shooting in 40 years as a ‘woman in a dress’ opens fire
Canada is grieving after a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, where nine people were killed and at least 25 injured in attacks at a secondary school and a nearby home. Six victims were found inside the school and another died on the way to the hospital, while police say the suspected shooter was discovered at the scene with a self-inflicted injury. Two additional victims were located at a residence believed to be connected. The tragedy has shaken the remote town of about 2,400 residents, where students reportedly barricaded classroom doors with tables in a desperate effort to stay safe.
