Andy Cohen<\/strong> spoke of the lawsuits that have been filed against NBCUniversal, Bravo, their production companies, and himself on Monday, also sharing what he felt was the network\u2019s biggest challenge moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While chatting about Carole Radziwill<\/strong>\u2018s return to The Real Housewives of New York City<\/em><\/strong>, and Nene Leakes<\/strong>, 58, joining the cast of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip<\/em><\/strong> for its \u201cRoaring 20th\u201d special, Andy, 57, revealed if Nene could go back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/em><\/strong> and commented on the success of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While speaking to Vulture on May 4, Andy was asked if his name was included in many of the lawsuits due to the fact that he was so widely recognized as the unofficial face of the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYeah. Well, also because they wanted to get press,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite the backlash they\u2019ve received in recent years, and after Bethenny Frankel<\/strong>, 55, touted a \u201creality reckoning,\u201d Andy denied having pause about being so closely linked to Bravo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s the greatest brand on television. The fact that I could be Bravo Andy is a gift,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He then shared the biggest challenge the brand faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cKeeping the shows fresh,\u201d he revealed. \u201cI view producing the Housewives<\/em> shows as, we have 10 planes in the air and you want to keep the planes in the air flying with no turbulence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Looking ahead to Carole\u2019s return to RHONY<\/em>, which recently began filming its 16th season, Andy denied that she was brought back to save the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s ungenerous to say that it\u2019s good to bring someone from the past back who\u2019s beloved,\u201d he stated. \u201cIf Carole didn\u2019t know any of the women, I don\u2019t know that bringing her back would\u2019ve made as much sense. She actually knows more of the women now than she did when we brought her in season five.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n He then teased what was to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019re halfway through filming, and it\u2019s everything that we wanted it to be,\u201d he shared. \u201cI think people are going to be really happy. We\u2019re getting great personal story. We\u2019re getting great interpersonal story. We\u2019re getting a ton of humor and a ton of drama.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In regard to Nene being featured on the RHUGT<\/em> special, Andy said he didn\u2019t consider her past lawsuit against the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are celebrating 20 years of the Housewives<\/em>. I can\u2019t speak to that lawsuit, but it\u2019s in the past. She was integral to the show and its success. As we looked back on 20 years, it felt like doing something with her would be really nice for the fans, and she really wanted to do it. It was very positive,\u201d he clarified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That said, he\u2019s not so sure Nene could return to RHOA.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019ve worked so hard to get a cast on Atlanta that is cohesive and makes sense and that we love and the fans love. We want to be at the level that Atlanta used to be, and we are finally there. That\u2019s what I\u2019m focusing on right now,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As for the quick hit RHORI<\/em> has become, Andy admitted it was \u201cscary\u201d branching out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere are thousands of shows. No one is watching live television.
