Harrowing final moments of missing Alabama student come to light with witness’s chilling testimony

New details have emerged in the tragic death of 20-year-old University of Alabama student James “Jimmy” Gracey, whose body was found in Barcelona after a days-long search. Gracey had been on spring break with friends and was last seen around 3 a.m. leaving the Shôko beachfront nightclub near the Mediterranean. His body was recovered Thursday evening near Port Olímpic, confirming fears of those searching for him. A witness has since come forward, telling authorities that Gracey was seen walking toward the rocky area of Somorrostro Beach shortly before he disappeared.
